New iOS update adds assistance for Xbox Series X and PS5 controllers

It’s taken its sweet time, however Apple has finally released Variation 14.5 of its iOS software application, which includes support for both the PS5’s Dual Sense along with Xbox Series X/S’ non-fancied-named controller.
iOS 14.5 passed a beta test period back in February, and is now good-to-go on modern Apple devices. Simply download the upgrade and pair your controller with your iPhone/iPad, and you’ll be great to go. The upgrade gets here not a minute too soon, as Xbox just recently introduced its own beta test, with an objective to let iOS users stream Xbox Game Pass straight to choose Apple devices … Most likely not Apple Pencil.
In addition to the new controller assistance iOS 14.5 adds more Siri voice recognition choices, optimization in between Apple Watch and iPhone, and 5G data usage enhancements– none of which have anything to do with the coming utopia of playing Streets of Rage 4 on your phone. You can take a look at the iOS 14.5 functions over on the official Apple site.
