[With the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda upon us, Destructoid is taking a look back at the series with original features covering some of our favorite aspects of the franchise. Breath of the Wild ended up being a very unique game for me throughout my very first 30-40 hours. It wasn’t just the top quality open-world style or delightful quests, however one unexpectedly interesting aspect. An element that was caused to me through a brief strand of these previously mentioned quests within the desert wastes.
As you happen upon Gerudo Town, you aren’t precisely welcomed together with a red carpet. Rather, you’re shooed away for a minimum of appearing to be a male. A “voe,” as it were. Considered that among the only notable males in Gerudo history happens to be the most significant baddie in all of Hyrule, suffice to say, Gerudo ladies watch out for many guys. All things, and Gerudo Town’s governing body being (presumably) always headed by a “vai,” thought about, guys are difficult pushed discovering their way in..
