Random: Amazon’s Luna Controller Sure Does Look Familiar

Where have we seen that design before?Amazon has simply raised the cover on its cloud video gaming service Luna– and its controller certainly reminds us of something.Luna is powered by Amazon’s Web Service infrastructure and, like competitors such as Google Stadia and Microsoft’s xCloud, will enable players to stream games across multiple devices, including computer systems and tablets. 4K/60 fps efficiency is assured, and the service will be readily available in the United States for an introductory cost of $5.99 a month. Interestingly, Amazon has revealed that various ‘channels’ will be available that grant access to different video games; a number of these will be concentrated on private publishers (Ubisoft is getting its own one, for example, which will give access to the studio’s video games on the day of release).
